In their own words

The car on the face of it is great. But I have had a catalogue of issues. I have been recovered three times, always something to do with battery system which the dealer then advises they can't find anything wrong. Every now and then the car won't start so I leave it for a while or plug it in and that seems to work. In hybrid mode there are Judders when you put the power down, moreover there is a lag between pressing the peddle and pulling away, I always drive in the Power mode to stop this . I only average 28 mpg, mainly motorway miles . I had to have the leather on the drivers seat replaced as it went very saggy, still not great. . Nunerous spurious messages on system such as wiper service required and which now and then the whiole dystem totally resets itself whilst driving ,abit scarey when travelling down the motorway . The car self emergency breaks every now for no reason other than it had misreadswhat is ahead of it and the adaptive steering is down right dangerous when travelling fast on motorway bends, but you can turn it off On the plus side very comfortable, big for the family and the tech is , despite the glitches, fantastic, I constantly use the adaptive cruise. Sound system great . Looks good . Sadly all let down by the reliability , which is shocking .I suspect the Diesel engine is the one to go for as Volvo clearly has not yet cracked its hybrid system .
