Volvo XC90 Inscription Pro Recharge T8 Plug-in hybrid AWD auto 5d Owner Review

I have been blown away by every aspect of this car. I expected it to be a poor relation to the Range Rover Sport it replaced but that has not been my experience. I looked very carefully at my driving habits and realised that the hybrid would probably work for me. This has proved to be even better than I had hoped. I can manage around 21-22 miles on battery and have managed to get 84 mpg on one particular tank full. Apart from economy, comfort is outstanding and performance is blistering when required ( it’s as quick as my Boxster!). Load carrying is amazing and dealer attitude has been exemplary. The car itself has been faultless so far and build quality is excellent. Until electric charging infrastructure improves I am more comfortable with a PHEV and would recommend an XC90 without hesitation.
